After School TechKidz Program™

Welcome to the 21st century after school program! Introducing the After School TechKidz Program™, a first-of-its-kind after school program with a high tech flair for youth in elementary and middle school. The TechKidz Program makes high tech learning a high priority.

In the 21st century, you can't afford not to have your child learn programming and understand technology. Read the study by Oracle Academy and Burning Glass Technologies, the White House's initiative regarding computer science, and watch the video from code.org to hear what the top leaders and company founders have to say. A growing trend in colleges is to deemphasize and make the SAT and ACT optional for admissions, paving the way to demonstrate one's abilities through other means such as coding and projects done.

The TechKidz Program is one of the best ways for your child to learn coding and be immersed in technology. We foster an environment of creativity and innovation beyond the standard math and language arts. Each day, the student will spend about an hour either on our computer theme of the month or on some days, they will work in the area of their interest. The themes we did last year were on machine learning, web development, robotics, GameMaker, Scratch and 3D printing. We have a few new topics that we will be covering this year.

With homework time, the goal is to complete their homework before leaving our center, which is one less thing for you to worry about. There is a learning activity that will cover concepts in math, writing, and arts but done in a fun, social and light manner. This is all tracked online so you can see your child's progress on any given day. We provide snacks and drinks and value safety, cleanliness, non-overcrowding, and positive attitudes.

The times and schedule align with the Cupertino School District. We provide transportation to our center from most schools, but do contact us to confirm.

How to Sign Up

In the Enrollment Options below, select the days you want to enroll, the month, and whether you need transportation or not. Then click the Add to Cart button to enroll. This will be added to your shopping cart. We accept VISA, American Express, MasterCard and Discover. You can also pay by check or cash if you come into the center.

Food and Drinks

We provide a healthy snack and water. You may want to bring your own water bottle or drinks for convenience.

Absence

If your child will be absent, call or email us and provide the full name of your child and a phone number. We take roll call everyday so for safety reasons, we will call you if your child does not show up. There is no refund or make up on another day if your child is absent.

Pickup Time and Late Fee

The After School TechKidz Program™ ends at 6:00pm Monday to Friday. It is important that you pick up your child on time. If you know you will be late, please give us a call. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will be charged $15 per half hour rounded up.

Cancellation Policy

If you decide to cancel, you will be charged for the current month plus $50. You are eligible for a refund for the months that have not started minus any discounts you may have received and a 3% credit card fee if you paid with a credit card.
